We read in I Peter 3:15 "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have."

The word in Greek for 'answer' is the word apologia- which means a reasoned defense or justification. This has led to a branch of theology concerned with the defense of our faith in Christ- apologetics. The purpose of the articles that will be appearing monthly, as the 'Apologetics Primer', are designed to encourage more intelligent and active faith in those who defend it. Namely, you and me.
