First Church building in Davenport. Constructed 1889. First Presbyterian Church
Presbyterian Church moved to Morgan St and second building contructed in 1902. Church building was lost to a fire in 1924
Presbyterian Church building was reconstructed in 1928 and still holds services each Sunday at 10:00 am

When Congress created Washington Territory in 1853, the new territory included not only what is now Washington state, but all of Idaho and chunks of Montana and Wyoming. Only four thousand people inhabited that huge expanse, living in isolated communities scattered around Puget Sound and various waterways west and east of the Cascades.
