Statement of Essential Tenets
1. We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word
of God, without error in the original writings. The Scriptures are the complete
revelation of God's will for the salvation of humanity and the divine and final
authority of Christian faith and life.
3. We believe God the Father is the loving Creator of all things.
2. We believe in one God, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three
co-equal persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
4. We believe Jesus Christ is fully god and fully man, conceived by the Holy
Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as the sacrifice for our
sins according to the Scriptures. He rose bodily from the dead; ascended into
heaven where He now sits at the right hand of God the Father; and will come
again in glory.
5. We believe through confession and repentance of sin, the Holy Spirit
guides the believer into godly living and service to Christ.
6. We believe humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin and
is eternally condemned, without the Salvation that comes only through the
shed blood of Jesus Christ and faith in Him.
7. We believe Jesus Christ is head of the Church. His Church is all people
who, through saving faith in Him, have been renewed by the Holy Spirit and
brought into union with Christ.
